Senior Manager - Medical Writing, PhD
Daniel has more than 10 years’ experience in designing and implementing research in both the academic and commercial environment. During his 7 years at HEOR, Daniel has been involved in a broad range of activities across a wide range of study types and therapeutic areas including microbiology, oncology and chronic health conditions. In particular, Daniel has led on the design and implementation of several multicentre-retrospective chart reviews, systematic literature reviews and global value dossiers, and has provided support in relation to conceptual model design, documentation and value communication. Daniel’s research has been presented at clinical and health economic conferences including ESC, ASN, ERA-EDTA, and ISPOR, and published in peer-reviewed journals such as the European Journal of Gastroenterology & Hepatology and PharmacoEconomics
Daniel’s current position is the Senior Manager of Medical Writing where he oversees medical writing activities at HEOR. Under Daniel’s leadership, the medical writing team aim to promote excellence in medical writing and value communication, with the ultimate aim of benefiting patient care through the availability and uptake of new and innovative technologies.
Prior to HEOR, Daniel completed a PhD at Cardiff University where his research was focused on immunoevasion functions of Human Cytomegalovirus. Prior to this, he attained a first-class honours degree in Molecular Genetics from King’s College London, which included an industrial placement with UCB.
