Senior Manager: Medical Writing
Daniel has a strong background in academic research, obtaining his PhD in 2012 from Cardiff University in Molecular Virology and Immunology investigating immunoevasion functions of Human Cytomegalovirus. Prior to this, he attained a first-class honours degree in Molecular Genetics from King’s College London, which included an industrial placement with UCB Pharma. Daniel particularly enjoys working across a breadth of therapeutic areas, applying his understanding of disease processes to the challenge at hand.
Since joining HEOR in 2013, Daniel has progressed from Medical Writer to the Senior Manager of Medical Writing where he oversees all medical writing activities at HEOR. In his previous role as Principal Medical Writer, he oversaw a broad range of activities across a wide range of study types and therapeutic areas including microbiology, oncology and chronic health conditions. In particular, Daniel has led on the design and implementation of several multicenter-retrospective chart review studies, systematic literature reviews and global value dossiers, and has provided support in relation to conceptual and model design, documentation and value communication.
