Principal Research Analyst
Oliver graduated from Cardiff University with a BSc degree in Physics, before completing a master’s degree in Operational Research and Applied Statistics with distinction. Oliver’s areas of expertise include the development and validation of cost-effectiveness and budget impact models, multivariable data analysis and optimization and evidence synthesis within Excel, VBA, R, WinBUGS and Python.
Prior to joining HEOR Ltd in 2016, Oliver worked as an analyst within the financial sector, during which he contributed to the collection and monitoring of data, as well as the creation of financial and propensity models for decision support. Since joining HEOR, Oliver has developed cost-effectiveness models, budget impact models and risk prediction tools, as well as conducting analysis of patient-level data. This work has encompassed several disease areas, including HIV, hyperkalemia and pathogenic bacterial infection, and the analysis has been used to inform publications and HTA submissions.
