Rachel has spent the last 16 years working in healthcare and joined HEOR in 2020 as Operations Director where she takes a key role in leading the operational and people functions of the organisation. Prior to HEOR, Rachel had various HEOR and Market Access consulting leadership roles at DRG where she lead teams across a range of research and consultancy from early market access strategy to HTA to value communications, as well as taking a lead in supporting the integrated DRG MedTech function.
Before transitioning into Market Access consulting, she worked on the healthcare provider side. First as a hospital manager in forensic mental health for several years, managing operations, people and finance functions and ensuring high quality patient care, and then spending time in a boutique consultancy supporting the NHS to develop outcomes based contracts supporting population health management.
Rachel took a Masters in Biochemistry from Oxford University, an Executive Masters in Public Health from the Columbia University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Economics from York University. Rachel is also a qualified coach with the Postgraduate Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring from The OCM.
