We recently brought the whole HEOR team together for our Insights & Innovation Conference (iCon) 2026. While the agenda was packed with presentations, live demos and lightning talks, what stood out most was something much harder to capture on a slide: the sense of a team reconnecting, learning from one another and feeling genuinely excited about the work we do.

A great day full of activities, highlighting the quality, expertise, passion and genuine commitment of our colleagues. It was thoroughly enjoyable.”

Ideas from across the business

iCon is designed to showcase the breadth of thinking and expertise across HEOR, and this year’s programme did exactly that. Sessions covered everything from market access strategy and operational innovation to collaboration, wellbeing and team development.

What particularly resonated with attendees wasn’t just the variety of topics, but the variety of voices delivering them.

Seeing all the different work people are doing and the presentations/workshops being delivered by juniors up to principals.”

There were plenty of opportunities for people at HEOR to lead sessions, so we had a great mix of people doing things on the day.

That diversity was a key part of the event’s success.

We in HEOR create such a vast catalogue of stuff that is so varied, and everyone in the business is so great at describing what they do in a way that everyone could understand.”

More than sessions

Ask people what they’ll remember most about iCon, and it rarely comes down to a particular session or presentation. For many, the biggest highlight was the opportunity to connect with colleagues they don’t cross paths with day to day.

It was great to be able to listen to such a variety of presentations and interact with and hear from people who I don’t usually spend a lot of time with.

Learn more about colleagues both professionally and personally.

I loved how collaborative and academic the conference felt.

More than anything, however, it was the people who left the strongest impression.

HEOR is made up of a wonderful and intelligent group of people that all really care about what they do.

The people are what make HEOR. It reminded me how lovely (and, of course, intelligent) everyone is. Each and every person has something unique to bring to the table.

It’s that spirit, “a vibrant, inclusive and innovative company where everyone wants to work together”, that iCon exists to celebrate.
